The ICATRIC examination for Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Industry Certification covers a wide scope of basic knowledge necessary to providing a high level of quality care and service.
This review workshop is intended as a refresher and reminder of information and knowledge that a practicing therapist has gained in more formalized educational programs. It is designed to re-visit aspects of aquatic therapies, areas of responsibility, and the aquatic environment, that may not be part of a therapist's everyday concern, but should be part of every therapist's knowledge base (agenda).
Previous workshop participants report that the workshop was instrumental in their passing the ICATRIC examination on their first try. Others use the workshop as a study guide, to determine areas of knowledge they need to develop more fully in preparing for the exam.
Our independent team of certified aquatic therapy professionals teaches the Review Workshop. All team members also are regular presenters for the educational events of the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (ATRI). Review Workshops are offered at most ATRI events, and may be scheduled independently by contacting any team member.
